Six

It's a little surreal to think that this weekend, we'll be celebrating six years of being married. On one hand, the things we've faced in our married life have caused us to feel the effects of every single one of those 2,190 days. On the other hand, time flies when you're having fun, right? It's hard to believe that it was only six short years ago that that couple was about to embark upon one of the greatest adventures life has to offer. So young, so naive, so skinny (ahem). Yet even in our young naive minds we knew what mattered. Love. Not conditional love. Not fading love. But tried and true, godly, forever love. The kind of love that comes with a cost. With a sacrifice. With a choice to keep it going and going. We don't claim to have it all just right yet, but that's ok. We've got the rest of our lives to figure it out together.
