In Love

I must admit that I am in love-in love with someone more perfect for me than I could have ever dreamed up myself. Thankfully, God knew EXACTLY what I needed and then orchestrated so many perfect events that would lead us to meet...date...get engaged...marry...get to today.

One of my favorite things that Marty does is create little surprises. He creates big surprises too, but the little ones are usually the ones that make my heart melt. This morning, for instance, I woke up a little later than he did, which was normal. He went to take a shower, which was normal. I picked up the laptop to check my e-mail, which was normal...but what wasn't normal was that there was an envelope labeled "Sarai" inside the laptop. I immediately ripped into it, and found the perfect Valentine's Day card. It said "If I were any more in love with you...I'd have to wear a warning label". Then there was a sweet little handwritten message, just for me from my "love". We had given each other a couple of DVDs for Valentine's Day (he got Batman Begins and I got The Wedding Date-which I still haven't seen, but am VERY excited about), and even last night I mentioned to him that I hadn't even been able to make it to the store to pick up a card for Valentine's Day...but he had. And it made my day. I never thought that I would be the one who would get to share forever with him, but I sure am glad that I do.

I love my "love".

You're blessed! And I'm proud...not that I had anything to do with him! :) Single Awareness Day is a lot of fun, don't get me wrong, but one of these days, I'll get to celebrate Valentine's Day the right way! :) Glad you had a good day!!

Sarai, like Lori, I had an ok Single Awareness Day. I ate dinner with my mom and dad (yippy skippy)...but it was ok because we had STEAK!! It's so awesome that you and Marty are together. You are both wonderful people who I will always admire. Love you two, Flims
