it's a Good Day

Last night, our Duke Blue Devils battled the Butler Bulldogs for the NCAA Championship. While Butler gets some mad props for a great game, Duke will return to Durham with the Championship title!

It's a good day, friends. A good day indeed.

JJ Redick (clap clap clap clap clap)

I just have to give a little shout out to my boy JJ Redick as he is now the all time high scorer in Duke Basketball history!!! He passed Johnny Dawkins (who is now an Assistant Coach at Duke and held the record for 20 years) last night in the Miami game. JJ's cute little parents were there to witness the event and their reaction was priceless. I love watching history being made. JJ will be GREATLY missed on the Coach K court next year...but before he graduates, I vote for a National Championship!!! Let's Go Devils!!!

Thing I Love: DUKE BASKETBALL!!!!

After Duke's win over Carolina on Tuesday night, it is only appropriate to express my undying devotion to them. I have been a Duke fan since I was 7 or so. Then, when God blessed me with a husband who was not only a huge Duke fan, but also a Duke grad, I knew that Duke Basketball would forever be a love of ours. After the Christmas surprise to see the Devils play in Cameron, I was COMPLETELY hooked. From the cheers to the atmosphere to the beauty of Cameron Indoor to JJ & the boys (not to discredit the rest of the team, as I do love them all)...Duke Baskteball rocks my face right off!!! GO DEVILS! :)
